That sounds perfectly reasonable to me, at least. For him to be gone before you ever learned he would leave, that ... sounds devastating.

Guess I'd have to try it to find out for sure. But it might be a good way to tell him about everything that's happened. Even if it doesn't get to him for a long time, and even if we're not together, he could still read over them and know.
